Hi my name is Samira Sujkovic and I am a freshman in
LaGuardia community college. I am 18; I live in Astoria with my family. I live
with both my parents, and my two brother’s one is 21 the other is 6. I am
currently employed at a internet café in Astoria working part time 6 hours a
day. I graduated from William Cullen Bryant high school this year in June. My
goal in life is to have a career in fashion design or anything dealing with
that industry. Everybody has their dreams and I have mine, which is to become
successful one day. Adjusting from the life of having everything done for you
in high school to doing everything on your own in college is a drastic change;
but it’s a apart of growing up in life. After attending LaGuardia I would like
to transfer to the college F.I.T. in the city to pursue my dream. I don’t like relying
on people way to much I basically do everything on my own. I enjoy having a
good time and I laugh a lot when I’m around friends. You could say I’m pretty
social when it comes to meeting people. One of the most important people in my
life that has a huge impact on me is my best friend Meranda. I have known Meranda
for a few years now, we are basically inseparable. Both Meranda and I are like
the same person but in two different bodies. Before working at the internet café
I worked at a Pharmacy for a year. I know way to much about medication then I should
have, and about all these little remedies. I have lived in Astoria my entire
life I haven’t moved from there and I don’t plan to. Well that basically sums
it up all about me.
